Apple Cider Vinegar, A Go-to Fitness Hack

  • 1 cup water

  • A pinch of cayenne powder 

Process: 

  • Boil water in a saucepan and turn off the heat.

Mix apple cider vinegar with oil and your choice of herbs and spices to make a simple vinaigrette. 

As a marinade:

As a hair rinse:

As a facial toner:  

Mix equal parts of apple cider vinegar and water, and use it as a toner after cleansing your skin to help balance the pH of your skin and reduce the appearance of blemishes. 

As a natural pest repellent:  

Mix equal parts apple cider vinegar and water, and use it to repel pests such as fruit flies or ants. 

As a sore throat remedy:  

Mix equal parts apple cider vinegar and water, and use it as a gargle to help alleviate sore throat symptoms. 

As a foot soak:  

Mix equal parts of apple cider vinegar and water, and use it to soak your feet to help soften and exfoliate the skin. 

As a weed killer in gardens:

Is it OK to drink apple cider vinegar daily? 

You can drink up to three tablespoons of ACV daily (1 tsp = 5 mL). However, some experts warn against consuming too much ACV because of the acidity that may cause indigestion or other digestive problems.
